645396	2008-03-03 20:59:00	One of the few times I paid interest on the credit card was when I accidentally put the wrong card in an eftpos machine to withdraw cash.Ditto for me when I inadvertently used my credit card to pay for the departure charge at the airport. Of course I didn't realise until I'd come back from holiday. D'Oh!	Tony (4941)
645397	2008-03-03 21:21:00	Not sure how you are charged 2x though. It was in debt. I put in $1484 so it was still in debt, just less so. Then I took it out again. They charge the normal interest per month PLUS now they charge a daily. Took me a bit to get it too. Robbers. And the hell with CCs, I've changed it to a personal loan and put the CC back to its $500 limit, not in debt. Bugger paying 20.95% plus another daily interest charge.	pctek (84)
645398	2008-03-03 21:35:00	The other one I remember was having the credit card at one bank and the bank accounts at another. The day the bill was due I'd do a telephone transfer (this was a while back before internet banking and before I realised that interbank transfers go through overnight). The bank accepted it so all seemed fine. Until the bill that was due, and paid for, on Christmas Eve... Took a week or so to go through and I was charged interest. These days the credit card is still at a different bank but it is paid by automatic transfer. Now my problem is fiddling with the two revolving cheque accounts (one of which has a slightly higher interest rate than the other) to ensure it, and other direct debits, don't bounce. I pay a small fortune to the banks in interest and fees anyway without making "voluntary" contributions to their profits. Visa's great. Costs only the card fee and by using it where ever possible it saves on interest and bank fees. So long as I don't stuff up.	Mercury (1316)
