646950 2008-03-07 03:15:00 As much as I'm glad there's one less robber in the world, I don't think I'd wish THAT car crash on anyone, I mean I'm surprised he even survived that crash! But then again he brought it on himself, so whatever... --Wolf-- (128)
646951 2008-03-07 03:29:00 Exactly.

Instead, out justice system is so f****d that the cop who was chasing him will probably lose his job. :yuck:

That would be the biggest irony of the whole episode if he did.

646952 2008-03-07 03:34:00 I find those sentiments appalling.

Irrespective of the details of who did what - which we don't know as yet - it's the kind of comment sometimes made about serial kilers & rapists.
It's also the kind of thinking behind torture.

It saddens me to read such totally inappropriate comments on this forum.
Ever heard of "overkill"?

I've no sympathy for those low life scum, especially the ones who endanger other people by driving on the wrong side of the road in excessive speed so that he could escape from the police.

I agree.. sure the guy was probably an idiot but all he did was steal a car.. now if he killed the car's owner then stolen it, I'd probably have a different opinion..

646954 2008-03-07 04:33:00 Look at it this way. He saved us a fortune in that he now will not have to be processed through the legal system. He is also very unlikely to commit any further crime. CliveM (6007)

I don't see why we should have even an ounce of sympathy for low lifes who so obviously doesn't show their victims any sympathy.

They choose to hurt, maim and disfigure their victims with no sense of morality or ethics, Why should we show them any benevolence they've never shown us?

And CliveM is right - taxpayers don't have to pay for his court cases or his useless and parasitic existence when he's in the slammer.

I can only say I hope this bugger suffered the worst pain before he died.
