645296 2008-03-01 12:22:00 I used xmlTVNZ from Reven and that was fine earlier this year... Got all the Sky channels without an issue...Mmm.... it may have been fine then, but it's dead now :groan:. Well, v2.5 is dead anyway. Erayd (23)

Which now that I think of it was the day my media PC retired (had no really need for it) The_End_Of_Reality (334)

645301 2008-03-01 20:41:00 There is one here that extracts from Telstra Clear to create a XML file

645302 2008-03-01 20:45:00 Sky's guide on their site is now encrypted to stop people from scraping the listings.
I think Reven's xmlTVNZ V3 is getting the Sky guide from TelstraClear's website so may not have all the channels.

What do you mean it didn't exist?
What is this then? www.skytv.co.nz
That is their guide listing is it not???

If what you say is true I wonder why Reven hasn't been able to scrape the data?? Too much work??

645305 2008-03-01 21:00:00 Interesting - it doesn't show in my browser. What I see is this (www.imagef1.net.nz). Possibly something to do with me running a very bleeding-edge browser (Opera 9.5 weekly dev snapshot).

Certainly explains why I couldn't find it though .

If what you say is true I wonder why Reven hasn't been able to scrape the data?? Too much work??Possibly. Extracting guide data from a flash stream is a lot harder than getting it out of a standard webpage. It's doable, but isn't the worlds easiest feat to achieve.
