Nah, ASB is pretty cool with that kinda transaction. Some banks (I'm looking at you ANZ) will charge you sometimes particularly if its a large denomination changeover.

645242 2008-03-01 11:04:00 One person who had a small cafe business, used to do her banking with one particular bank, but would go to a different bank solely to change notes for coins. Being a smallish town, this didn't go down too well! :D When they started to charge for the service, she promptly decided to use her normal bank for her change purposes.

I don't think she ever resorted to running down to the nearest car wash!!
