| 792454 | 2009-07-18 10:39:00 | Know very little about this, but heres my 2cents worth: Seems to me if I download a file from an overseas site,(most of them) it goes like stink for a minute or so and pretty soon the speed slows down to about half, and stays that way pretty much for the rest of the download. So Speedtest seems to be all over in about a minute, could they be missing the tail?? Secondly what is Speedtest measuring? the speed between you and your ISP or the speed between Youtube and you? I thought there was some infrastructure between the ISPs mentioned, and a proper High Speed connection over the Internet (ie Telecom/Xtra) |

| 792455 | 2009-07-20 17:00:00 | I have been watching HD videos. at quite large resolution at some places, I don't know the exact resolution, but the display panel must be 75%-80% of the browser window, and at full screen it's pretty good as well. The kind of speeds I'm getting at this moment are: 11496 kbps up 00987 kbps down Didn't get a result for ping though. AntiVirMan |
