Cmon, you're better than that!

:D

The one at b&b is only a router, no modem. I'm pretty sure they are identical apart from that but you wouldn't really be any better off.

791707 2009-07-15 03:40:00 The price, the 110 may not have DMZ, and router only. Here's the specs

791710 2009-07-15 04:04:00 From experience I'd say don't get a Belkin. Almost all of their routers we've sold have had overheating issues or other random issues, and quite a few have failed all together. They also have below average wireless signal strength. When they work they are ok, and they have good warranties, but compared to brands like Linksys and TP Link, it's just not worth it. Their pricing isn't all that great either.

Just speaking from my experience though - that is not necessarily the case with them all and I haven't used them for a year two two now.

791711 2009-07-15 04:23:00 Get the Linksys AG310 or the Asus WL-600.

The WRT110 & WAG160N have their fair share of issues, around things such as SIP Calling etc.
The range on the WAG160N that I had was great, but the overall router wasnt very stable at all to be honest. 'tis a shame, as I'm a huge fan of every other Linksys product.

I've been pretty spoiled for choice by the AM300 in halfbridge to a WL-520GU running Tomato Firmware, it is *the* best for < $180!!

Im with wratterus, don't get a Belkin, and to be honest I'm not a fan of anything D-Link either (Even though they have improved in the last 2-years, you don't forget cock-ups like the DSL-302g in a hurry).

Chill.

So true!! I've replaced 4 of those this month already. Someone rings up, complaining of slow speeds and dropouts on the broadband, ask them what modem they have, after the obligatory "whats a modem?".. "rectangular box with a bunch of lights, maybe silver and blue" banter, the answer is normally "It says 302G on the front" and voila - new modem solves the problem! :D
