2008-03-06 04:19:00 | It an OZ rental car/mini-camper van outfit that seems to have started up here. Here in rural Nelson we seem to get heaps of them. Usually camping and crapping on the beach front because they don't have toilet facilities and the Tasman District Council allow free overnight parking virtually anywhere. | Scouse (83) | |
2008-03-06 04:23:00 | They usually have entertainment themed paintjobs on them. "Wicked" is a musical based on a book of the same name. It's about the wicked witch of the west, and how she became that way. If you watch pushing daisies, then Olive, the waitress, was the good witch of the north in the original production. Random huh? | Thebananamonkey (7741) | |
2008-03-06 05:34:00 | none of hose campers have "wicked" logos on it like these did. the way one was parked (illegally and one the wrong side of the road) gave the impression of delivery driver rather than a hung over tourist. | tweak'e (69) | |
2008-03-06 07:59:00 | Those running around about here are generally of the shape like 7 seater people carriers - sort of both ends rounded off. Not at all like a 1960's Morris Oxford. There was a time when I could see a car and know who made the damn thing - before they all became jelly-beans. | Scouse (83) | |

So true there is so much crap at Tahuna beach it's just not clean and thats Nelson council, but yes other beaches are just as bad in the region, it's not just the Wicked vans though have you seen how many campers are parked up at WOW each morning lately? :2cents: |
