The installer is the same size as IE7, good so far....

The installation is a bit better, you actually know how far along is it....

646799 2008-03-06 02:25:00 IE8 won't open, AVG8 had problems, maybe you're due for a reinstall. PaulD (232)
646800 2008-03-06 02:43:00 Earlier this week, Microsoft announced the new browser would use the most-standards-compliant mode by default in rendering Web sites.

That means Web sites will essentially look the same regardless of browser and developers will not need to do multiple versions of Web sites for different browsers.

I hope this means that ALL websites will now work in Opera, including those "optimised for Internet Explorer". Won't be holding my breath however.

646802 2008-03-06 02:57:00 They said it passes Acid 2 test now... So it will be compatible - but will probably still crash just as much :( Agent_24 (57)
646803 2008-03-06 04:12:00 Just installed it on Vista - Looks errrrrrr what's the word - oh yeah - THE SAME INTERFACE (www.imagef1.net.nz):crying Mind you that PC has also got IE7 Pro installed as well, which does kill the roll over widows nicely. wainuitech (129)

Sorry Foxy Opera is a lost cause in this part of the world.
With only about 1% usage it is not going to get much attention from web developers.
In fact apart from a few people here I have never come across anyone that uses it.

Good. it doesn't need to get any more vista-looking than it already has...
