792126 2009-07-16 01:22:00 Hi,

Can anyone suggest any free software to track data usage in a flat? We have four people and need to see who is using the most.

Cheers, Pete

792127 2009-07-16 01:31:00 Wired or wireless? Just computers connected? Any phones, Xboxes etc using the same connection? Nermal (7077)
792128 2009-07-16 04:41:00 Does it have to be free? There are some paid solutions available which have been mentioned on this forum before. somebody (208)

Not free but definetly simplest to use and set up!

792133 2009-07-16 08:22:00 You could do it with a dedicated box running a linux distro, like IPCop or PFSense Blam (54)
792134 2009-07-17 00:03:00 yeah just PC's and a mix of ethernet and wireless. Looking for the cheapest, simplist solution. If that happens to be setting up a linux box then so be it...any other options? 12steps (14778)
792135 2009-07-17 00:10:00 Networx may work, it may or may not work with wireless as well. And its free Speedy Gonzales (78)
