648802 2008-03-12 07:19:00 Visitors are equally likely to come to my front door or the kitchen (back) door because they are both situated at the sides of my house.
Is it possible to get a wireless system with 2 bell pushes and 1 receiver which gives a different sound for each?
Yes, I know I could get 2 separate sets.

So, um, why not get two seperate sets.

648804 2008-03-12 08:07:00 Yes you can, but you will have to shop around. Plenty of 'single' ones available tho. PJ Poppa John (284)
648805 2008-03-12 08:23:00 my wired doorbell died
so I got a wireless one
for some reason the button battery ran out pretty quickly
..and wasn't replaced..

no I'm back to no doorbell...

so...maybe when you look, find one that doesn't use a button battery, so easier to replace and cheaper to replace too

648806 2008-03-12 10:06:00 I just installed one 10 minutes ago. HPM, at DSE, $50. We've had one at work for 18 months and it works well. Only a single button though. Winston001 (3612)
648807 2008-03-12 20:05:00 So, um, why not get two seperate sets. The beauty of Greg's suggestion is you could set them to each have different tones, so you would know which door to answer.... johcar (6283)

If you read Greg's post you'd at least have a solution. ;)

(you didn't answer why not)

Of course I read Greg's post which suggested a solution I was already aware of ...which should be blazingly obvious from my initial post.
