Last year back at the beginning of September, an anti-1080 maniac, most likely a hunter, gathered up 1080 after a helicopter drop, and redistributed it around reserves, local parks and walking areas. My Border Collie was one of the two dogs that picked up the stuff and died a horrible death. Then a Golden Labrador we gave a home to earlier in the year, died of cancer last July. Now we have given a home to a Jack Russell that had been through a rough time, he's doing great. Our elderly Dachshund X is coming up to 16 and going great guns, but she doesn't chase wild goat any more :) |

Sad business saying goodbye to your dogs,I won't have any more for that reason. |
