648191 2008-03-12 21:39:00 I have heard of him, I think either our local TV station or prime was running a series on the jazz era a few years ago, and he was featured on it, quite a sad story really for someone who was quite talented.

his recordings would surely be out of copyright now, although i guess as part of a band they would be under other names

648193 2008-11-26 19:17:00 What's up Cic? Are you in a "dredging up old posts" mood today? :)
Maybe there is something you could take for this condition....

Thanks Cic, we had a rough 12 months or so regarding dogs. Last year back at the beginning of September, an anti-1080 maniac, most likely a hunter, gathered up 1080 after a helicopter drop, and redistributed it around reserves, local parks and walking areas. My Border Collie was one of the two dogs that picked up the stuff and died a horrible death.

Then a Golden Labrador we gave a home to earlier in the year, died of cancer last July.

Now we have given a home to a Jack Russell that had been through a rough time, he's doing great.

Our elderly Dachshund X is coming up to 16 and going great guns, but she doesn't chase wild goat any more :)

Rotten year all right,it was bad enough loosing my two whippets, without going through that lot.
Sad business saying goodbye to your dogs,I won't have any more for that reason.
