648143 2008-03-10 03:36:00 In your opinion, what's the most useful key combination? Can be a particular program, or in Windows itself.

Mine has to be, without a doubt, Win+R.
Best feature in Windows ever!! Saved me so much time. :D

Closely followed by Ctrl+T...

648144 2008-03-10 03:41:00 CTRL+ALT+K (a custom one to launch a terminal [konsole]), and ALT+F2 (the run box).

Runners-up: CTRL+ALT+F1 through CTRL+ALT+F4 (switch desktop), ALT+TAB (switch windows on current desktop), ALT+F5 (list windows from all desktops), and CTRL+ALT+ESC (click of death).

Like I did - try it and see.

Ken

My favourite, not exactly what was asked is the "Off" button. Puts it into Hibernation, thereby enabling a quick restart.

648148 2008-03-10 04:22:00 I seem to use CTRL+C and CTRL+V a lot. CYaBro (73)

648150 2008-03-10 05:29:00 Ctrl+Shift+Click in Opera, open in new tab, Ctrl Alt Del is seconded :(... slightly off topic, but mouse gestures in Opera are awesome! Thebananamonkey (7741)
