793367 2009-07-20 11:50:00 I want to buy a cheap micro atx motherboard for gaming.
Budget: Under $150
Must have: 1 pci-e x 16 slot
support core 2 duo (not too fussy on core 2 quad)
1 pci slot
sata ports
ide slot
4 or more usb ports
2gb or more ram (preferably 4gb+)
24 pin

Was thinking of this, but need others inputs :)

None yet, need motherboard before i start choosing.

I got a small midtower HP case which has a 9.6" x 9.6" mATX board - not sure if it fits with all mATX. Not very keen to buy a new case.

There's a host of mATX boards within your budget. My personal preference is for Asus boards.
