| 792721 | 2009-07-18 08:03:00 | Don't use it! SWMBO computer needed rebuild and decided to use spare parts for a spare comp to play round with linux. Unfortunately, because of the above crap grease, CPU nicely fried (yes fan was spinning and in the right direction). Slightly annoyed, but had slower CPU to put in, so all not lost Caught SWMBO computer in time before fry-up, have replaced with usual brand of grease |

Slight film around the edges in my view possibly indicates the heat sink (and fan) was not applied properly after applying the grease to the CPU. Could be a dud batch for all I know. |
