You should see the feed back in the Herald. I can't seem to get the link - Herald server is too slow.

According to my opinion one should get hung, electrocuted, shot, drawn and quartered, lethal injection etc just because one chooses to commit callous crimes like in this case.

648888 2008-03-13 11:40:00 Why ISN'T the insurance company paying up? Infact now they have someone (4 slap-ass crazy kids) to chase up and sue them for all the damages. beeswax34 (63)

Thats a very interesting read actually.

Not a day goes by when I don't feel helpless and annoyed at the justice system in this country.

You can look at it both ways...but surely, in this situation, the Insurance company should pay out, the chaps who stole the car and mugged the poor guy should get locked up, and have to pay for all damage and compensation for both the owners of the stolen car and the man who was attacked. Sounds like a good $40,000. Would keep them busy for a while that's for sure.

And the owner of the stolen car would have been lucky to ever see it again. Probably written off/burnt out or cut up for parts.

Go the guy who rammed them - good on him.
