| 647041 | 2008-03-07 07:13:00 | I'm impressed Norton did such a good job of cleaning that computer, he he. Even AVG free would have been better than that. How do people still keep getting sucked into Norton or is just that they get it free for a year with a new PC? | gary67 (56) | ||

| 647046 | 2008-03-08 01:25:00 | Why waste your BB usage?? I've got Go Large, what's there to waste? :D Still, I wouldn't even bother, even a free pirate version of Norton is still going to be just as horrible as a paid version (although I guess at least you can say you didn't waste your money on a piece of junk) Until they make it more resource friendly, more effective, and take away that stupid gigantic green tick in the taskbar, I won't even consider it |

| 647047 | 2008-03-08 01:33:00 | Hey Wratterus - What was the final virus / spyware count on this " Norton Clean" Machine - interesting to find out how many it missed ?? Well Nod32 found and removed I think it was 35 threats, Spybot got rid of another 40, and I ran smitfraud fix over it too to get rid of anything else. |

| 647049 | 2008-03-08 05:56:00 | It is difficult to educate people on the truth about Norton when it always gets good reviews everywhere it advertises & is often the only antivirus product mentioned in computer related articles (in the mainstream media). Even in the story PCTek linked to in this thread (pressf1.co.nz) about finance deals mentions Norton a lot. |
