No, there is no Metla in the pcwelt.de/forum.
Maybe you can lend us your Metla for a while?
Or is there a Rent-a-Metla service in NZ?
:DHaha! See, Germans do have a sense of humour!

647844 2008-03-11 18:42:00 Well, you don't know the "stubbornness" of our moderators... :D
Oh, yes, moreover cricket: I'm learning while yawning. Or vice versa? ;)
en.wikipedia.org :waughh:Sense of humour AND intelligence here. Though I don't know why anyone would bother to learn about cricket... :groan:

647845 2008-03-11 18:49:00 Hey punk, you're banned, but for your edification, here's the thing.

point 1] "a" jew is someone who is jewish.

NOT someone of jewish "descent". Anymore than I'm a Norman because I'm of Norman descent.

Of course, to an anti-Semite, it's a distinction that means nothing.

2] "a" jew, refers to an individual in your context. But you didn't say "a" jew until your last post. No, you said (twice) "the" jew.

Now son, (yes, we all you are yet to face the rigors of puberty), there is a whole lot of difference in what is implied in that simple difference between the indefinite article "a" and definite article "the".

"The" jew is the language of the Nazi. Turning a person's religion and heritage into a pejorative term of hate and de-humanising individuals at the same time.

"The" jew was used in the 1930s and 40s to stoke the fires of anti-antisemitism in Germany and Europe, and continues to be used to this day by anti-Semites who still cling to the myth that their woes can be laid at the feet of an entire group of people.

Now, I'd like to think you just innocently didn't express yourself very well. But you were at pains to let us know how you like to read history. So much so that you felt compelled to ask a question like that of a couple of Germans who you stumbled across in a forum. So chances of innocence? Not very high.

Chances that your an anti-Semite? Probably only fair. Chances that you're an idiot? 100%.

Nothing that is said here will change this chap,so why you bother is a mystery to me.

Thor - I'm in complete agreement with you on cricket, and it pains me that football (i.e. soccer) is not a true national sport here.:D

Is that 16mbit/sec download? What's the data cap?

That sounds very cheap compared to what we pay here.
