792747 2009-07-18 16:11:00 Got a letter from good old telecom with their new plan for unlimited broadband 69.99 i think, had it for a few days a download rates are so inconsistent it's not funny one minute your 400kb, next blink its 145 then back to 45 then back to 200. Its so funny to see how many random number it can generate but the "peak" time are pretty much the same as the "off peak" time so i dont understand that entire concept. Anyone else tried it as well? chuanwai (12518)
792748 2009-07-18 22:49:00 To be expected from Telecom, really. qazwsxokmijn (102)
792749 2009-07-19 04:04:00 They made my dad switch to it by telling them that Go Large (which was perfectly adequate for me) was going to be discontinued. I call BS on that. Netsukeninja (13296)
792750 2009-07-19 05:09:00 i dont know but the speed are always different its so weird chuanwai (12518)
792751 2009-07-19 05:54:00 Its OK, you can probably expect it to get worse too ;) Chilling_Silence (9)
792752 2009-07-19 06:37:00 I'd rather have speed/stability over quantity. Blam (54)

Alright, I give you consistent 999Mgb/s download, 999Mgb/s upload. Data cap: 10MB. :D

792755 2009-07-19 22:18:00 I'm still on Go Large. Recently the speeds have been fast enough to watch youtube without pausing. I know streaming youtube is normal for capped plans, but on Go Large it is very rare. And its only when it goes fast that they finally force everyone off it. utopian201 (6245)
792756 2009-07-20 02:47:00 Go Large has provided me with streaming youtube most of the time.

Sometimes it all goes to hell but overall I am very happy with it.

The new "Big Time" plan specifically states that it is compatible with ADSL2+

However I do not know if the same is true for Go Large, But unless my line speed suddenly goes up I do not care

Looks though that perhaps the upload speed is now full instead of limited to 128kb/s...
