1441919 2017-11-14 21:03:00 I am surprised I have had this system for 9yrs now (Intel Q8200) hope to get an upgrade in 12 or 18 months, should be a quantum leap . Has a 24" screen it's more taxing to do my photography edits but 1 by 1 edit isn't too bad .

In the past we changed systems a lot more ie the late 1990s . I was just firing up a 2007 year laptop and it ran x32 Windows 10 and was able to get Youtube without an issue despite it's WiFi G and it's 1024x786 screen though squashed .

Cheers .

1441920 2017-11-14 23:28:00 About 18months. An HP Envy that was highly recommended via online reviews, and has run like **** from Day 1.

One day I'll do a Dell XPS15. One day.

1441921 2017-11-14 23:45:00 No idea.

My desktop was originally built in 2008 and has since had every single party replaced at least twice. The oldest component in it now is the hard drive from 2011, but everything else dates from within the last two years.

1441923 2017-11-15 00:12:00 This one's about 2-3 yrs old. Socket 1150.

The last PC I put together. The other 2 a bit older - socket 775. Just changed one of the 775's to a $20 used Quad Q9400 a few mths ago now.

Nothing wrong with it. Works fine with 64 bit Win10. Think I'll try and get this Kinect I was using on the Xbox 360 to work on it. See if I can get 3D scanning to work

Since the 360 is no longer connected to anything and the Kinect wont work on the Xbox 1.

May get another $20 Quad for the other socket 775 computer. Probably change the other PC's hdd to an SSD as well. The hdd thats in it is a bit slow

None of these have games on them. Thats what the Xbox is for

LOL. I have only replaced my phone because something stopped working of the phone's memory/storage corrupted. I am on my 3rd Android Droid 6.0 (Jan 2017) the other 2 have stopped working (2015 and probably 2013). 1x the cell signal stopped after doing an update ok was my fault I used the wrong territorial one. The other it refused to boot even after reloading the software. Very occasionally it got in but then crashes out. I did get a LG Optimus G and the G3 but I got them 1 or 18 months after released I got them quite a bit cheaper. It's like for my mum she only got an ancient Nexus 5 (not 5X) earlier this year :p

Before this I had 2 Nokia Symbian phones the C6-01 and the E95 (~2009). Then before that was a Nokia 6210.
