2017-10-03 06:05:00 | Hi All. I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 Tablet, Model GT N8010 which has an SD 16 GB Drive. Is this easily replaeable with a bigger one. I read somewhere tht the SD is soldered in place, is that so? PJ

2017-10-03 06:16:00 | Tablets don't have a standard removable style Hard Drive , they have chips soldered to the motherboard. Not really an option to replace. | wainuitech (129) | |

Having enough problems with SWMBO Tablet, shes got a 256GB Micro SD card almost empty, and wants to install ANOTHER crap game, moving some rubbish to the SD drive to make room. :waughh: |

2017-10-03 20:16:00 | I see that W8 . 1 is free . :) Nope , not free . There WAS a free upgrade from W8 to Win8 . 1 , but only if you owned Win8 . As above , you cant install Windows on a Samsung Android Tablet . It has a CPU thats not compatible for a start With tablets, you pretty much have to accept them for what they are . Ive a Samsung 7" Tablet from the same era, I've started to get the issue where some Android apps wont install as its too old (Android version too old)

2017-10-03 23:38:00 | Its possible using change my software 8 but you'll probably start asking questions that very few people could help you with if you do go that path. | Kame (312) | |

2017-10-04 03:20:00 | change my software 8. does that actually work, anyone tried I saw alot of claims its just a scam. You'd need a CPU compatible with Win, else instruction set would be seen as nonsense ? Windows Embedded,CE maybee ?

2017-10-04 04:15:00 | MS are still working on it. W10 will be able to run on ARM processors, ( which most tablets use) bit like the Windows 10 S, its still under development. Windows RT was an example - didn't go to popular. Bit more on it -- www.techradar.com Looking on google, the change my software is rubbish and fake. To get the software you have to fill out surveys ( yeah right) and the technical side it wouldn't work anyway.
