I recentetly went thro what seemed like a major upgrade to W10. The Defender has changed & appears to be improved. I also run Avast which Defender noted & said thhat daily scans (?)
aare not being covered by Defender.. So my qquestion is. Do I use only Defender or run Avast aat the same time.

Q2. I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 Tablet with a wi fi keybouard. Ist it possible to delete the Android bit & install W10 instead? Thanks PJ

It didn't for me... I was unable to update or scan with it until I got rid of Avast.

What happens (seen it) , if a virus gets detected, they can literally block each other from cleaning/removing the infection

Most descent AV's will disable defender when being installed
