| 1440027 | 2017-10-02 02:17:00 | Hi All I recentetly went thro what seemed like a major upgrade to W10. The Defender has changed & appears to be improved. I also run Avast which Defender noted & said thhat daily scans (?) aare not being covered by Defender.. So my qquestion is. Do I use only Defender or run Avast aat the same time. Q2. I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 Tablet with a wi fi keybouard. Ist it possible to delete the Android bit & install W10 instead? Thanks PJ |

| 1440032 | 2017-10-02 05:58:00 | It didn't for me... I was unable to update or scan with it until I got rid of Avast. The reason for that is Any other Antivirus will disable windows defender. If it doesn't it's not worth having it installed. | wainuitech (129) | ||

Never do this, never :) What happens (seen it) , if a virus gets detected, they can literally block each other from cleaning/removing the infection Most descent AV's will disable defender when being installed |
