1440848 2017-10-25 01:54:00 I did download the latest Nvidia driver as mentioned ealier.

I swapped the older video (450) from my other older PC and both video works fine. Older PC has no issues.

This PC works fine with the older video card (450) but still no audio driver. Installed the latest audio driver from Asus site with errors.

I am happy with this older video card (450) but not with a PC without audio.

Any suggestions other than rolling back to ver 1703 to get back my audio.

Cheers

1440849 2017-10-25 02:02:00 You can have a look and see if the audio can roll back-- Go into the Device manager, expand out the Audio - right click the audio/properties/ Driver Tab - see if the option is there to roll it back.

You can also run the trouble shooter - on the odd occasion it actually works ;) In Search type troubleshoot open it, in the top list should be a option to trouble shoot the Audio.

Troubleshooting couldn't identify the problem.

1440852 2017-10-25 02:13:00 Worst scenario: After rolling to 1703, I wont be able to get any updates as it will be going over and over again. I can't control what to update and what not to update. bk T (215)

1440856 2017-10-25 03:33:00 Do you guys think that a clean reinstall of Win10 will help?

That's a lot of time in installing /configuring Windows ; but if it helps.. only if.

1440857 2017-10-25 03:43:00 Have you tried just disabling/uninstalling the offending devices and letting Windows re-install them? If you choose the option to remove the drivers (I can't remember the exact wording) Windows will be forced to download new ones. Tony (4941)
