1441840 2017-12-09 06:58:00 Nah, tracking number doesn't work. Driftwood (5551)
1441841 2017-12-15 07:57:00 Could be its traveling via Singapore Post, there is usually a week or more of nothing while the poor old fella on stage 1 of the journey walks from China to Singapore, the long way, carrying your parcel. Then the delays get more complex, but usually the tracking will start once the old chap totters into a Singapore Post Office. R2x1 (4628)
1441842 2017-12-15 17:56:00 Thanks for that, very reassuring. Driftwood (5551)
1441843 2017-12-17 21:03:00 Nah, tracking number doesn't work.

Try it on 17track.net

Also , some couriers tracking is Really bad. Often wont be any updates untill its in NZ or untill after its been delivered .
Tracking via NZ Posts tracking page sometimes works AFTER its landed in NZ, so keep an eye on that one as well.

If its a NL or similar tracking number, expect delays & b&gger all tracking updates. up to 6 weeks . Can take take longer over the XMAS rush.

And, depending on what is is, some items get confiscated/rejected at the Ch boarder : batts , glue, any liquids etc.

Tried it on 17track, nah nothing.
The package information still shows the blinking Orange dot halfway between shipment ready for dispatch & departed country of origin.
The order detail status, says the seller has shipped you order.
Emailed the seller several times with no response.
Even tried the chat thing but that was no help either.
It expires on the 24th Dec, then hopefully I might be able to get my money back.
It was over $100 too which is a worry.

Assuming it will be a fizzer I ordered a similar item from Amazon.
What a contrast. For a start it arrived from the US in 2 weeks.
The tracking was awsom, had dates & times & locations. You could just about see it moving.

1441845 2018-01-05 07:01:00 We can finally wind up this thread.
The item never arrived by the said date.
I then started a dispute which gave the seller a set time to reply to.
They didn't, so I received a full refund.
Three months of wasted time.
Would I buy from them again ?????

1441846 2018-01-05 08:29:00 Aliexpress are really only the shop front (in simple terms) They don't actually send out the goods that are ordered, those come from the seller you purchase from as advertised.

I ordered a couple of parts for a laptop Via aliexpress on the 24nd December, One arrived 3rd Jan ( two days ago) the other arrived today 5th Jan.

Here's the complete delivery / tracking for the 1st

You got your money back so that's a good start. If the item you ordered is still wanted reorder but use a different seller next time - give the original bad feedback and usually that gives them a kick in the butt ;) The feedback from others is one thing you also have to look at when ordering.

One of the good things I like about wish.com ( a similar site) is when you find something you want, you can click on "Related Products" and it brings up the same product from many different sellers, along with the prices. :)

1441847 2018-01-06 03:02:00 I've been using Ali Express for a few years now without problems. Wait - there was one occasion when the item wouldn't work so I just flagged it as experience, didn't cost much anyway.
My latest was a cover for SYMBO's tablet. Beautiful embossed green leather. And yes it is leather $20.00 NZ. Ordered Dec 19 2017, arr today 05/01/2018 by airmail - free delivery. I admit this delivery time is exceptional - but great service. Maybe I'm just lucky

1441848 2018-01-08 05:57:00 Yes, when it works it's great. When it doesn't it is a hassle, the customer service isn't exactly speedy or helpful really.

I had a bad experience, then again had some good ones too.

Much like Ebay or Trademe really.

Much like Ebay or Trademe really. Add to the list --NZSale :annoyed: They are total rip off's when things go wrong.
