1441034	2017-10-25 01:37:00	Just to throw even more Grrrrrrrrrrr into the mix. Changing the SSID on the router still may not work. Esp if the new router has a different IP address/range. Printers often assign a IP Address in their setting, so if the canon for example has set an IP set for something else, it isn't gonna work. Had that exact thing happen early this year, I installed a new TP-Link in a place, the original was an old router, completely different IP.	wainuitech (129)

1441037	2017-10-25 02:42:00	:badpc::badpc::help::crying:crying Tell us the make & model number Its Easy Peasy....when you've done this heaps of times before :) You have turned off the old modem ?? if so the printer's wee screen should be complaining about wifi. Usually , in the the printers menu, buried a few levels down (options or setup etc), there will be the wifi (Networking) setup menu	1101 (13337)
1441038	2017-10-25 02:50:00	Canon MG3600 series Printer . New modem has been up and running for a few days . . . . . . . . . wasnt till we wanted to print something and found we couldnt The pc has it on its sytem already . but it cannot connect to it to see whats wrong . printer is not seen by it at all, tried to click the find me button ? on the modem and find printer . . . . . it does not see or possibly be seen by the printer . . . going through all the wizards multiple times on how to set up etc . but nothing gives me the options to change wifi password for it . pc is on cable, but printer isnt and I dont remember if it was . I did get pc to wifi last night and put in new password . but it made no difference . I do not know what happened to the cable it came with . Ive done all the click this button etc and still cannot see the printer . Ive read every help me page on the online manual . but none of it works . so possibly only fix will be a cable? printer doesnt have a screen, just buttons to change colour, wifi on off and power, or alarm light - for error .	beetle (243)
1441039	2017-10-25 03:05:00	I go through all stages of help wizard, add a printer, add a wireless device etc, it gets to the printer is installed, do a test page and comes up with printer not responding........ and this is the same problems ive had for days. the printer shows up in the devices and printers box, but just not respond or be seen as wireless or ready. so im not sure if its just cos the pc has it in its mememory, or whether something is missing.... and I just have not found it. If I could find that magic box on the printer, set password or input password here, Id be sweet......... but its not. :(	beetle (243)
1441040	2017-10-25 03:15:00	It wont see the printer because the printer is looking for a now non existent Wireless, its settings are more than likely still set in the printer for the old Wireless . Done quite a few Canons, and only a handful have actually worked right away with the Wireless . Generally when you run the software there is an option (even when selecting Wireless) to connect Via a USB cable first . The printer then finds the Router(s) (assuming the computer is already attached to it) installs the appropriate software and wireless settings, then tells you to unplug the cable and that's it . 1441041	2017-10-25 03:22:00	Yip and because I dont have a cabel..this all falls over......... :( it goes thru the whole shebang and installs stuff, but the end test print stage.....oooops printer does not respond. but never comes up with the option of change wireless password anywhere, or error saying password denied or some such crap	beetle (243)
1441042	2017-10-25 03:31:00	The Settings not playing nice are in the Printer, not the PC. That's why you are best to use a cable, as it then changes/alters to the new Router. Several possible causes. 1. Different SSID & Password. 2. Different IP address. 3.Printer is set to old IP/SSID/Password. 4. Find a USB Cable, and it should work fine after reinstalling software. :)	wainuitech (129)
