It's still the Creator's Update which is code named Redstone 3 -(RS3 for short), the fall part is the time of year - American "lingo" this is Build 1709 (17 =2017 09 = Month it was finalised .) Version 1709 Build 16299.19 Redstone 4, the next version, is already in the hands of insiders, Build 17017.1000 Currently Targeted to be released sometime around March 2018 |

| 1440823 | 2017-10-18 22:20:00 | What's the 'trick' ? Its not needed now as Speedy posted, the media Creation tool will get the right version. The Trick was there was a cab file that tricked the media tool into allowing the download to come through as long as you ran a command in powershell or CMD as admin.It was only valid till it went live ( like it has now). Allowed me to upgrade several Customers computers while I had them here earlier in the week. Would have been a real pain taking them back and then a day or two later a new version downloaded and installed. |

I need to load it onto a MAC (via parallels) :-0 how big is the update (to download via Winupdates) if the PC allready has the previous Creators 1703 ? is it a minor update or a big update (file size) |
