I got a cheap notebook from Warehouse for my niece for school, but returned it after a week. Quite high specs, quad core, 4GB RAM etc. It overheated badly and would reset every 1/2 hour or so. The last straw was that the floppy hinged screen/lid wouldn't remain open. I replaced it with a HP 11 Chromebook which she loves, and doesn't have to worry about anti virus etc. You can do most things online so long as there is a good internet connection. You can download documents and work on them offline, they will be saved as soon as you go online. |
