| 1441715 | 2017-11-07 21:10:00 | There are many discounts available where by buying something you can receive 10c or 20c off a litre off fuel. With only a few cents profit per litre the petrol stations won't be the ones bearing the cost of that discount so who is it that is paying for these discounts? Whoever it is must be making lots of money to be able to afford to continually give these discounts. Anyone know how it works? |

Somewhere I heard how it works, I can't remember exactly how but I do remember thinking that we all should realise just who pays........it's us! |

We looked at offering them but the costs were just too much, and not predictable, as you don't know how many customers will come in and earn the rewards you are offering. And then it also depends on if they actually redeem them. The supermarkets will be paying for the discounts they offer. |

| 1441719 | 2017-11-07 22:30:00 | Perhaps those petrol stations just charge a bit more for the un-discounted price ? so they bump the price then offer discounts ? any discount I could possibly get would be gobbled up by the cost of the morning coffee :-) |

I haven't used it for a month or so as I had a couple of 12 cent supermarket vouchers, I think Challenge are now offering 12 cents! I doubt that this is paid for by government. | Brucem (8688) | ||
