MS update leaving system restore disabled is nuts . Yep that's the one... System restore is disabled because you can't do a system restore between different Windows build versions. If you need to rollback to the previous Windows build you can use the Recovery option under "Settings--->Update & Security--->Recovery". This will allow you to go back to the previous Windows build. Windows holds the required files for the recovery process for a month at which point it automatically deletes the files and also re-enables system restore. Cheers, |
