649279 2008-03-14 04:21:00 I don't use or own any one the ones you have listed although I will say that as of currently, Blackberry would be the better choice on that list and Windows Mobile is somewhere below that at the bottom of the barrel. Palm is pretty much on its way out of business and Linux is making a good go if it on the new Google mobile smart phone. vitalstatistix (9182)
649280 2008-03-14 04:57:00 I don't want to start a battle here, but you should add Mac OS X to your list, the iPhone and iPod touch both run a mobile version of Mac OS X. :) maccrazy (6741)

Safari is also the leading smart phone web browser app of any smart phone on the market.

I think Opera is the leading one at the moment

649284 2008-03-14 06:26:00 Yeah, the only mobile OS I use would be OS X on my iPod touch.

/me waits for naysayers

Opera only has .69% of the business market vs Safari which has 5.70%
Windows Pocket IE has .06% (Windows IE desktop has 74.88%), Blackberry has 0%

Safari would be the only mobile web browser that is on a steady increase of all the mobile OS's.

649286 2008-03-14 07:21:00 Slightly related, this pic of a slide in a Steve Jobs keynote (stash.ableapp.com) is funny. Check out Apple's slice in the graphic compared to Other's (read: Windows, lol).

Sure there's a bit of perspective involved but how convenient.
