794408 2009-07-23 03:38:00 I had XP on C: on its own HDD. I have Vista on G: on its own drive.
I have replaced XP with an image recovery of Vista (G: to C:)

C: is the boot disk running the recovered Vista and the files now on the C: installation all point to G: (because of the recovery of the image).

What would happen if I deleted the G: partition of Vista?
Will I still be able to access the files from C:?

794410 2009-07-23 04:21:00 When checking the files on C:, they show they point to G:

ie G:/Bryan/ user and the like.

I would have thought that when on c: it should show C:/Bryan/User etc.

794411 2009-07-23 04:32:00 On checking further, it would seem that the "Windows" files all point to C: but the others ie Photos and the like point to G:. Is there any way they can globally be changed to point to C:? Bryan (147)
794412 2009-07-23 04:42:00 You mean your profile is on G:?

Logon to another account, such as administrator then right click My COmputer>Properties>Advanced>USer profile and settings.

From there, move it C:
