650218 2008-03-18 07:51:00 At the time - 5 years ago, maybe - Consumer recommended AEG. And we got it from The Warehouse. I think you're getting confused with Dyson.

I think you're all getting confused with the "wonderful" $3500 Kirby that the salespeople (term used loosely) love to push onto the elderly. The AEG used to get recommended by Consumer in the early days. We bought ours about 11 years ago and it still goes well.

650220 2008-03-18 09:29:00 I am fully aware this is not Monday laughs but I just had to say this:-

A Guy phones to have his Fridge fixed. The technician arrives and spends five minutes having a look. He goes out again and comes in with a tape measure and a small hammer.

He uses the tape measure so far up the fridge and gives the fridge a small whack with the hammer. The fridge now works perfectly!

The Guy gets a bill for $1000.00 so he asked for an itemised account.

Account came back:-
Call out, visit and repair $100.00.
Knowing where to hit the fridge $900.

Your dog could use it as a kennel perhaps? I hope this is a top loader and rather large. Go large for the next washing machine.
