650153 2008-03-22 14:49:00 Hmm . If that is the theory, then new headlights may explain why people drive on the wrong side when "over there"

Wrong-o .

Here, most people have little or no concern if their headlights work or not . The same goes for brake lights . Many times it's just the cyclops (center) brake light that works or just one on the right or left .

After all . . . how would one know? . . . they never go to the back of their vehicles when they use the brakes anyway . . . . and by the time they let their foot off the pedal and run as fast as they can to the back for a look-see, the lamps have all gone dark .

Besides . . . since all the streets and highways here are so well lighted, using actual headlamps that work is redundant . . . and a pure waste of energy .

The civil authorities have spent billions of our tax dollars on lighting every freeway, highway, secondary road and driveway . . . so why agonize over a few measly unlighted or badly aimed headlights?

Even my lawn is well-lighted should I choose to drive there too .

They are working on making windshield wipers unnecessary now too . I think they call it "Global Warming" . . . whereas there will be no need to ever wipe a clear view through rain or other forms of moisture on the glass .

Dose guys! Dey is all working for us to make life easier .

Jealous NZ?

Youbetchum!
