| 794028 | 2009-07-22 05:22:00 | Trend Microcillin maintains that I have a possible Trojan called generic SFB which has infected file -- 'flock -- 2.0 .3 .en US. Win 32 EXE.' It wants me to delete this file, which I'm reluctant to do as occasionally Microcillin cheerfully deletes parts of my dictation software which then necessitates a reinstallation and the loss of carefully trained up files. I have inspected the file with Malwarebytes, which maintains there is nothing wrong with it, but then this program never seems to find anything anyway. Can I safely delete this file? Is there any other alternatives such as some sort of quarantine? The option doesn't seem to be offered. | Guerilla Surgeon (6848) | ||

| 794031 | 2009-07-22 06:58:00 | Thanks, I disabled Microcillin, and got avast from the PC world disc and it says I've got nothing. So in theory I had I've got nothing. I know Microcillin isn't the best, but one of the free ones I can't remember which now caused conflict with my firewall and crashed my whole computer necessitating a complete reinstall, and the loss of that day's work. So I'm just a little bit wary of them. It's probably just got hold of a part of my dictation software again, I'll run it tomorrow and see what comes up with. Thanks again. | Guerilla Surgeon (6848) | ||

| 794037 | 2009-07-23 02:37:00 | Flock itself is not malware but that file could have been infected with some other virus I doubt it.I cant see these people targeting an unknown browser that is hardly used.In my book the AV is picking up a false positive. |
