| 651399 | 2008-03-21 11:28:00 | In an apparent bid to rapidly gain share of the online browser market dominated by rival Microsoft, Apple is leveraging its vast iTunes install base to recommend that Windows users also download and install the latest version of its Safari web browser. Safari Time!!! (www.appleinsider.com ml) Wow, desperate times call for desperate measures huh? Since even Mac owners hardly use Safari, they HAVE to appeal to Windows owners. |

| 651401 | 2008-03-21 11:54:00 | Doesn't iTunes also install Bonjour on every machine as well? Just the sort of crap you would want, A network service installed in the background by a crappy media player.... |

| 651403 | 2008-03-21 14:35:00 | Sure, on a mac os safari runs good, but on a windows os it's the hell. I never saw so buggy software. I don't know how works the new version, but mid 2007 it was unusable on a windows os. |

I tried Safari, its just as bad as FF, its a memory hog. Too bad it cant block ads Altho, it looks like FF3 is due to be released soon. Which fixes the memory usage. We'll soon find out |
