650800 2008-03-19 07:15:00 Something to do with Public broadcast of music.

Anybody heard of this crowd ? Are they genuine or trying it on ?

650801 2008-03-19 10:15:00 They are quite serious/genuine, supported by the big recording companies and local recording retailers (so they'd have the resources to sue you if necessary :crying :p )

There was a recent thread asking about playing background music in a shop in which this subject came up, cant find it at the mo'; why, have they had a go at you?

650802 2008-03-19 19:52:00 Got a letter off them but to me it seemed like a bit of a send a letter and see what falls out type thing. No personal names on the letter just a business, and at the bottom a statement saying if you are not playing music then still let us know so we can ammend our records. globe (11482)
650803 2008-03-19 20:06:00 If it was me I'd ignore it - they're a blimmin rip-off. We should stand up against such Stalinists. Greg (193)
650804 2008-03-20 06:41:00 Yeah, they (being the record companies) dont seem to care that this nazi attitude to their customers is more than likely the reason why hard copy sales have (allegedly) dropped, rather than downloading. feersumendjinn (64)
650805 2008-03-20 10:24:00 Tell them to take their grudge and shove it. It's ridiculous, they'll be saying we can't play radio in a shop soon. :crying: wratterus (105)
