652623 2008-03-28 05:54:00 The people of New Zealand elected her to be our Prime Minister, respect those who voted for her, whether or not you did the same. That's the decision made by the majority of New Zealanders. Accept the facts and face the reality. This is our Democracy in New Zealand.

The PM is not elected by the people of NZ.
The PM is chosen by the caucus of the party that wins the election, and that may not even have received a majority of the votes.

652624 2008-03-28 06:07:00 If:

1. It's loads of BS;
2. It's not recognised in NZ;

Ask our Prime Minister (or Prime Ministers of any other country) to announce those 2 statements publicly.

Let's face the reality.

Right, so the only way you will believe us is if Helen Clark or any PM of NZ says it?

That is a seriously low standard of proof that you need. Only China believe the nonsense about "One China"

Under that rule, parts of India belong to China too. Yeah Right.

652625 2008-03-28 06:18:00 Of course, if China had nothing to hide about what's going on in Tibet, they would have allowed foreign reporters to get in and film the violence going on. By sealing regions off from the outside world, it looks far too suspicious - even if, by chance, they are right. somebody (208)

You have a few facts wrong there. The majority did not vote for her and Labour otherwise she would not have needed a coalition.
I think it is time you faced reality.

652627 2008-03-28 06:35:00 When Tony Blair won his first landslide I could not find anyone in England that would admit to voting for him either. But enough must have voted for Helen and co for them to be near enough to only need a small coalition. gary67 (56)
652628 2008-03-28 06:48:00 She didn't need just 'a small' coalition - she scraped together every partner she possibly could and still only just managed to get in. Why do you think there are so many supply & confidence agreements this time round? Erayd (23)
652629 2008-03-28 07:27:00 I disagree, Mr. Black.

GAMES may be GAMES, but the OLYMPICS are a POLITICAL BRAGGING CONTEST. ....and there are citizens in the outskirts of the prettied-up arenas and stadiums who aren't getting a square meal but once a week..if that! :mad:

Billions upon billions of $$s for games and yet medical, scholastic and social programs all go wanting. People starve to death while crowds cheer for a .00007 second faster new world's record. It's all so perverted and unreasonable.

Countries should only be able to compete when they can show serious socio-economic concern for it's citizens. I guess that would leave the venues all empty though. :clap :banana :punk

So possibly the Red Indians should be given their rights back?

At least in New Zealand we have not had a civil war either as yet. Remember North vs South in America over slavery? We did have the Maori wars and the present generation are still paying.

As we speak there are millions of dollars being spent on the US campaigns to work out whom will be the next President.

Personally I am now getting to the stage where I think the USA should get out of IRAQ. After all the USA has had 4000 troops killed so far.

When do you think this will stop?

Oh. I forgot to mention the "rules of war"

Since when does this make any difference?

No, no. I don't believe whoever says what without finding it out myself.

Taiwan & Tibet are both part of China. That is the fact that I strongly believe in. No body in the world can change my view.

That's because the West medias are not reporting the truth.

Well, you're a person of principle . I can't stop you from being wrong and neither can anyone else despite the wealth of evidence against your "view"
