| 652155 | 2008-03-26 01:58:00 | do you guys in the US use pool cleaners that suck up all the crap off the bottom of the pool ?? We have a water-motor powered robot that scurries around the bottom looking for money and diamonds and bathing suit tops. They are designed to remove debris and things non-biological. The biological stuff is left to the black light/ion sterilizer and the chlorine and acid. Some have reverse osmosis diaphragms and DE for small micron filtering. But be ye not alarmed..we also have surface skimmers too. Removes the dead rats that have all gassed up their insides and now float. (NZ: might work for dead 'roos and wombats should they fall in. I think the 'roos get there on the trade winds from Australia). Then, we also have pool-boys who wear speedos and have an all-over tan and they strike poses when they arrive to "clean the pool" for the moms who are at home while the old guy goes off to war in some cubical. |
