795288 2009-07-29 09:43:00 AFAIK Those all work. Not sure about Nero though, but it sucks and there are lots of alternatives.

I have an idea...maybe you could image everything from your old HD over...

795290 2009-07-29 09:48:00 You would have to check the maker's/manufacturers site to see if there are 64 bit drivers there. Nero may work (it was crap on this), but INCD may NOT work with 64 bit Speedy Gonzales (78)
795291 2009-07-29 10:04:00 I don't actually use INCD, but use (and I realise here how visual I am - can't remember the name, just see a picture) - the Nero one that plays DVDs, lots. I suppose if I can learn to use Linux (at least minimally!) I can find and use something else - as you say...

The other one I looked at was the Toshiba L510 from Noel Leemings. Not as fast, but same size screen, and I think will do everything else. What do you think?

795292 2009-07-29 10:30:00 Yeah the toshiba looks pretty decent, but offers no where near as many I/O ports and features of the Asus.. Blam (54)

Mmm - where can I get a list of the full specs for this? I've looked in a few places and haven't found it yet :(

And now I'll have to get some sleep to be able to 'fight the good fight' again tomorrow. :)
