| 651754 | 2008-03-24 00:48:00 | Also remember, paying for a service doesn't make it a legal transaction, AllOfMP3 anyone? Just buy the DVDs online if you can't find them locally. Thats true, but it pisses me off when someone asks where to download something and all of a sudden its "pirated". Like hell, there are hundreds of legal downloads, only have to find them, MP3's as well, many artists have free downloads of certain songs. What about the so called leaked service packs from MS - consider them pirated as well then. WHY because they are NOT the official releases from MS. |

| 651755 | 2008-03-24 03:14:00 | Heres a question - WHY does every one think that because someone like Ice wants to download something it's pirated ?? ICE - If you did a quick search you would have Found This here (www.anime-plus.com) Looks like all downloads for what you want, menu's on the left as well. Just tried to download a episode , but it wants wants the Plus account @ $5.98 USD per month ( at todays rate - around $7.00 NZ) - so you would be paying for it, looks like once paid you can download as many as you want. He dint mention anything about paying for them, thats why. |

| 651756 | 2008-03-24 07:58:00 | He dint mention anything about paying for them, thats why. So does that automatically mean pirated - NO. Tell me how many people when asking for help always give all the information? Theres a thread in here someplace with peoples desktops - just looking through them there are a few that have programs that can be used for downloading pirated content, or ripping copy protected DVD's, are we to assume that every one that has those programs are doing illegal activity's ? All I'm saying is unless its obvious maybe people should ask before assuming the activity is pirating. Example: If I posted this question - "where can I download Music from "- am I asking for pirated or am I asking where can I download paid for music ? MANY here automatically would say illegally - yet I could also be asking for places like Itunes, Digirama. In fact I often get asked from my customers where can they legally download Music, and when I mention the above they happily create an account and purchase the music they want. - ALL LEGAL. |

| 651757 | 2008-03-24 08:23:00 | If he had said that he did not mind paying a fee, then I would have thought differently, but he didn't. Me and others based our information on the information we were given. WT, if you had asked "where can I download Music from" without stating you are happy to pay, I would have thought illegally, that is because there is so much piracy on the web these days... If there was a mention of payment, I would be happy. :) |

Why am I saying this in the thread, simply because when the question was asked, I went and looked at a few sites, I didn't simply assume it was pirated and you can purchase the items asked for - are the sites legal - who knows. |

Yup, that link you have provided is also a source of pirated materials. There are many places on the internet that charge for things that are free or not even their own property. If you do that, might as well just go to any other server and download without paying right? You have to use google, theres a site i remember, use keywords in google "bleachexile" , you can pay for it if you want, or you can "preview" any episode you like. Avi formats there. If you just want to stream lowish quality stuff, then theres plenty of places for that. There was also a place that offered low quality rmvb stuff for direct download. They were at dbz-media, google that too. I don't think it would be allowed to link as per forum rules, or I would happily have googled and pasted appropriate links here. If you wanna be legal, you have two options, really depends on where you are up to in the anime btw. If you are watching the english one (basically the jap one but remade and dubbed by the americans) then thats the one you can pretty easily go through itunes store with. Otherwise you'll have to specially order the japanese versions from japan and download what they call 'soft subs' as they don't sub them from there. The jap version is way ahead, into a new series called Naruto Shippuden, episode 52 on there, the English one is at like 130 or something I think (out of ~220 of pre-Shippuden Naruto). I guess it might also work if you stopped by at EB and checked if they could have it ordered in aswell, but I can imagine that would be very pricey. Should be heaps cheaper to order online via jap/usa. |
