794861 2009-07-24 10:14:00 im thinking of getting the dse one, DSE PC Desktop Microphone Blackandblue (14231)
794862 2009-07-24 10:35:00 If it's for gaming then I would suggest a headset with boom microphone

That way the mic will always be right there and it won't pickup any game sounds

Make sure they're comfortable if you did that, some can hurt your ears if you're gaming for a long time

794863 2009-07-24 11:32:00 I dont like headphones though I like to have speakers. Blackandblue (14231)
794864 2009-07-24 11:41:00 are the bestest desktop microphones going to pick up sound from the speakers? Blackandblue (14231)
794865 2009-07-24 19:36:00 It might a little but probably not too much. Whoever you chat to will hear mostly your voice anyway.

But DSE will allow returns if you don't like it

Just make sure that when you're using it for the game that your sound settings are for recording the mic only, and not playing it back, or you could get problems.

794866 2009-07-25 00:24:00 Or do you think i should pay $22 more and go for this?

www.xpcomputers.co.nz

Would the extra $22 be a huge difference to the mic? over the dse one? www.dse.co.nz Main thing looking at being noise cancelling.
