The Lic Central thingy is apparently some component of windows that starts before login - it had a note about malware being harder to kill (after removal?) the file for it is apparently missing - I have no idea about this. Computer is still very very slow - video takes ages to load as do regular pages. I am starting to wonder if this is a broadband problem - I am with Telecom. I have unplugged all phones and restarted the router (flashing box thingy that serves instead of a modem). I am kind of stumped! | kako (15110) | ||

This O23 - Service: LicCtrl Service (LicCtrlService) - Unknown owner - rundll32.exe (file missing) Has something to do with games, or some kind of copy protection. Its not part of XP AFAIK. Well its not on the other PC's here that have XP. Might belong to StyleXP? Whats the specs of this system, besides the 1 GB ram ? |

Processor is AMD Athlon tm (XP) 3200, has an ACPI uniprocesor PC, has 1536 MB virtual memory ... I don't know what other things to look for or where! | kako (15110) | ||
