If you dislike the western ways so much you are welcome to return.

Oh, no. Not Again!

652674 2008-03-29 21:27:00 Snap! Well said. Considering access to Google's search results, Wikipedia and BBC and CNN are blocked/restricted, I would say no.

The Opium Wars lasted from 1839 to 1842 and 1856 to 1860 respectively. Right, so the only example you have goes back what, about 150 years? Yeah, some real present-day bullying by the West there.

You know, India din't become independent till 1947 but you dont hear us going on about it.

If all you know is from Google and Wikipedia, well. ...

Let say, someone from another country put up a sign at the front entrance of a Park in NZ with the following words:

"Dogs and New Zealanders Not Allowed"

How would you react to that as you are so weak and helpless to challenge the person who put up the sign?

As regards India, I know too little about the Indian history as to make any comments. If I do, it will be inaccurate and bias. Just like some of those Western medias who falsely (intentionally or un-intentionally) made untrue reports on China. The recent Tibet's "Peacefull Protest" is a very good example.

I'd laugh, push the sign over, and carry on.

Whats your point?

652676 2008-03-29 22:31:00 Let's come back to the recent Tibet's so called "Peacefull Protests". No one has answered that yet.

We are all waiting for the all knowing one to tell us.
So do proceed.............

Unlike you who seems to have swallowed the official PRC diet of propaganda and now regurgitate it here.

Just exactly how do you know for fact it is false?

OK. Did you watched TV3's report on this issue? Did you observed those "Peacefull Protesters" burnt shops, destroyed properties, throwing rocks, etc at others? They are the so-called "Peacefull Protesters".
