651682 2008-03-22 21:57:00 Xnet has been down for the last 20 mins for me. I had a DSL connection, but no PPP, errors alternating between 'Could not contact PPPoA server' and 'PPP authentication failed'. The Xnet phoneline also appeared to be completely offline - when calling it, I got the triple-beep 'number doesn't exist', the double-beep 'engaged', and the telecom 'Your call could not be completed at this time - please try again later'.

Xnet's back now, and their phoneline seems to have returned at the same time. Did anyone else get hit by this issue?

651687 2008-03-22 22:10:00 OK that was weird..... Their helpdesk number just called my phone and started playing me music. Not a person in sight. Erayd (23)
651688 2008-03-22 22:13:00 any idea what caused the problem? I just got out of bed about 20 minutes ago & found it wasn't working, then rebooted my router after breakfast & all was fine Greven (91)
651689 2008-03-22 22:14:00 No idea.... I'm leaving the helpdesk alone for now, judging by the faults on their main number I'm betting they're completely snowed under. I'm sure we'll find out in due course. Erayd (23)
651690 2008-03-22 22:19:00 Fortunatley I do not use Xnet. Sweep (90)
651691 2008-03-22 22:29:00 Even more fortunately I do.
Had a couple of minor hiccups this morning, but not very exciting.
