654469 2008-03-31 02:52:00 Yeah I was thinking of doing a post extolling the virtues of Norton Internet Security;

- Installed quickly and easily
- Caused no loss of performance
- Found and removed ALL Virus's & Spyware
- Was simple to uninstall too

Then I realized that NO-ONE would fall for that!! ;)

654470 2008-03-31 03:03:00 I am.

On the tablet, I'm going to put the BSOD screensaver on
On Dad's desktop, I'm going to put a 'fake desktop' (aka screenshot of his desktop on PowerPoint :D)
On Mum's PC, I'm going to have an unclickable icon
My Gmail status will be set to Offline.

And those are my pranks. :banana :clap

(P.S. Anyone got a wireless webcam?)

654471 2008-03-31 03:52:00 My favourite for the last few years has been to take a screenshot of the desktop, hide the desktop icons and set the screenshot as the desktop background. :p

I also have a little app (which I'm trying to get to work now, I broke it a little while ago and didn't fix it!) that continually opens and shuts the CD Drive Tray.

Edit - we have life. Anyone else want it?

654472 2008-03-31 04:03:00 One of the best I have heard was when I worked for Telecom when it was known as the New Zealand Post Office.

People were told, over the radio, that there was to be a big spring clean of all the telephone exchanges and people should put a plastic bag over their telephones to stop the dust getting into their homes.

Apparently quite a few people followed the instructions and tightly enclosed their telephones. It is not recorded as to how full the plastic bags became or how they answered the phone with plastic bag attached.:illogical

654475 2008-03-31 07:28:00 A prank that I thought was good was a rabbit apparently road-killed just up the road from the pub at Waitangi on Chatham Island.
It caused a big fuss in the pub because there are no rabbits on the island (yet!).
