| 653134 | 2008-03-26 22:54:00 | M$ has of course denied any timetable, but there's plenty of scurrying afoot and finalizing the last of the languages needed for the update. Even if that happens..and when it finally does...here's a bottom line for ya to contemplate: Once SP3 ships, the next major milestones for Windows XP are 30 June, when the popular operating system is slated to fall off the reseller and retail availability list, and 31 January 2009, when it will be taken out of all distribution channels, including system builders.:crying :crying :crying :crying I wonder if Bill-o has really thought this out all the way? |

I think it's done like 60% in about 4 months. :lol: |

I can watch it for free and I would mute/not watch the adds anyway - no one loses out. Vista has nothing to do with the download speed, I just want to go back to XP and don't want to lose the 10 or so gig I've already downloaded lol. When It's finished I could proly send a few DVDs up lol. :D |
