652499 2008-03-25 05:34:00 hello press f1,

i was wondering, the talks of changing the law about when a teen new zealander can apply for a license does this mean that if say... i am on my learners license (since dec 10th 07') i can apply for my restricted licence on may the 10th 08',

does this mean that if they changed the law before i am eligible to get my restricted would this mean that i couldn't do so at my date, after the 6 months of being on my learners license, OR do you think they would make the law apply to everyone who applied for a license after the date that law is effective ?

thanks in advance for your opinions

You will be stripped of any license you have. And when you turn 18 you will have to start all over.

652502 2008-03-25 06:42:00 Not quite sure, but I'm sure any license holders before the new law comes into affect will be regulated under the old law.

Though I don't mind if 15 year olds are stripped from their license until they are 16.

Whoa that was seriously uncalled for, not to mention unbelievably obscene. You definitely need to calm down plod.
