| 795608 | 2009-07-27 04:57:00 | This morning I set myself up in Google Documents. I then loaded a spreadsheet and 7 Word files. All working well. Then I organised for a person to share these documents. All working well. Then I organised for another person to share the same documents. I was doing this one document at a time because doing all at once did not work. When I had done 5 documents Google decided that I had to use the "Word Verification Required" thing but in place of the graphic of chracters (CAPTCHA) there was just a small red X. So, I could not type in the characters and could not proceed to share the documents. When I started my setup this CAPTCHA system worked. Pictures/graphics on other web pages are working fine. Is this a problem on my computer or a Google problem? Is there a cache or something on this computer that needs a clean? If so, where? I have wiped out files using disk cleanup and rebooted but no change. |

| 795611 | 2009-07-27 07:37:00 | In IE Tools>Internet Options>Click "Delete" under Browsing History>Then delete the Temp files. As for DNS cache...it very unlikely thats the issue but run>cmd>ipconfig /flushdns Blam |

| 795612 | 2009-07-27 10:43:00 | Thanks, Blam. Done all that and then rebooted. No change. I see in the Google files that others have had this problem but I could find no answers there. It seems there is no easy way to get a message to Google either. |

| 795613 | 2009-07-27 11:07:00 | Try another browser, such as firefox: www.mozilla.com You can migrate your settings over. Also, are you using IE7 or 8? If you're using 7 then update to 8 and see if it solves your problem Blam |

| 795614 | 2009-07-27 21:11:00 | Thanks, Blam, I am using IE8. I will have to give Firefox a try. This morning Google Documents worked well for a while. I shared documents with two new users and even shared 5 documents in one go. Then I tried 6 documents and up popped the Word Verification screen with the dreaded red X. Now I can not share even a single document as the little red X is there for every one of them. | dveitch (6045) | ||
