But Ive given up on the idea as the cost is too far out of my pocket for the time being. I would rather save for awhile. Methinks R2's reply has gone right over your head. :lol: |

If one were to save 20% of national capacity ,this would save a power station or two. Not necessarily, as the peak demands will be largely unaltered. Most electric hot water systems are on ripple control so are not part of the peak load, which in turn defines the generation capacity. |
