653629 2008-03-30 03:31:00 wait, wouldn't you have been better off to get rid of one of the cars and keep the bike?:waughh:

Well when you have children something got to give, and as the bike was used only recreationally that was it . and yeah we do need two cars

That's because:

Your username = password... it is not hard to guess what's your password :p ;)

Speaking of Chinese bikes, aren't we all eagerly anticipating Tata Nano bikes?

653635 2008-03-30 12:17:00 Don't you think a National (coalition) government would surely go along with the proposed changes? Surely if the Nats say they are going to keep the 250 status quo, they will lose votes.

And of course National have invented their policy and produced this to the people who are entitled to vote. I have not voted for National in some time. Last time I did that Rob Muldoon was about. Last election I did not vote for Labour either. I take it that your opinion is that National will have to form a coaltion to be the next Government.

Back to motor cycles! Motor cycles use less fuel than cars. Motor cycles are NOT more dangerous than other forms of transport.

Possibly time to get a horse and others may have to clean up after I pass down the road.

653636 2008-03-30 12:27:00 yes motorcycles should be encouraged if the govt is serious about improving driver skills, serious about reducing dependence on imported oil, serious about reducing carbon emmissions, serious about reducing traffic conjestion, serious about solving parking issues, and generally serious about the economy (just think of all the wasted dollars on oil/roading/parking and hours of time spent sitting in traffic)

more/less dangerous? depends on the rider. suffice to say while you can't get trapped inside a bike, and many riders simply bounce/slide reasonably harmlessly down the road, LTNZ does insist on erecting barriers that dismember anybody unlucky enough to hit one, cars do have a habit of running people over, and truck grills were never very forgiving.

Agreed. I painted a whole house and in return I was given a 50 CC scooter.
I rode this from Lower Hutt to Newtown in Wellington. Later I moved from the Hutt to Kingston and used the same to get to work and back.

As it happens I was stationary in Hamilton yesterday on the grid for the V8 race.

The numbers end at 2 BTW.
