654131 2008-04-01 23:29:00 Hmmmm. I think I will trust Brian Sykes and the Oxford Genetic Atlas Project thanks. They have been working on this for years, and Nat Geo are Johnny Come Lately by comparison. Judging by the junk the Nat Geo puts on its Sky TV channel, their credibility has deteriorated! Whatever, I would trust Oxford University over any profit-oriented media source any day on any topic.

BTW, what is the problem with coming from Africa?

Do you Work for the Company that you are sponsoring? If you are, your spamming. I think I know your answer.
I’m not biased.
I think there is still a missing link to where we came from. I will give you a clue:
Chimps still look like Chimps after MILLIONS of years, I don't look like a chimp, yet..
Wait for DNA to settle this. d

How funny! What company did I refer to in my post? Where do you get the idea I was sponsoring anything? I guess you are so immersed in American culture that you don't understand any other way of life where people can express an opinion without being biased by a commercial relationship. Sad as well as funny.

I only mentioned Oxford University. I live in NZ, not in Britain (where Oxford Uni is located), and I do not work for any part of Oxford Uni or any company connected either with the University or Brian Sykes. I DID buy one of his books, but borrowed both of the others from my local ratepayer funded library. I thought they were very persuasive.

654137 2008-04-02 04:38:00 Never been there; sounds like I shouldn't go either in case it is infectious. Canterbury is bad enough! John H (8)
654138 2008-04-02 21:14:00 Forget that upstart pommy oxford rubbish. the bible is older and quite widely circulated, so it obviously must be righterer. Unless you classify it with some of Aesop's even earlier work.
Oldness and rightness are not an auto-linked piece of inevitability, or I would be righter than SWMBO. She will sadly tell you that is not a starter.
